The Sun
draws a vast circle
around the Milky Way
to complete a single year.
That journey
takes 255 million years.

If we measured our lives
not by Earth’s time,
but by the time of the Sun,
a human lifespan
would last only 8 seconds.

From the Sun’s perspective,
on Earth,
we are nothing but
billions of sparks
flaring briefly,
then fading.

We exist for a moment...
Then we don’t.
